There will be a whole lotta slurpin', shootin' and shucking going on at 3 in Clarendon this spring with the new Local Oyster Happy Hours . Every Sunday night from 5 to 9 p.m. now through May, 3 will bring the best of the Chesapeake Bay and Rappahannock River to Arlington with specials on local Maryland and Virginia oysters in all forms: shooters, on the half shell, sliders, Rockefeller and stews.

Celebrating the freshest oysters Virginia and Maryland have to offer, 3 is serving up local oysters with its own Southern twist. Known for his now-famous annual Week O' Bacon, Executive Chef Brian Robinson is using his favorite meaty ingredient in dishes like the Oysters Rockefeller with House Cured Bacon and Spinach, and even the fresh Oysters on the Half Shell with his own housemade Bacon Jam. The Southern-inspired restaurant is also offering comfort plates like Fried Oyster Sliders with Creole Remoulade and Oyster Stew.
