AIMS invites you to join the

AIMS SUPER SATURDAY featuring Madison County Humane Society’s “Local Lucky Dogs Give Back” in Downtown Anderson Town Center

Anderson, IN. - Saturday, JUNE 7, 2008, AIMS will host AIMS SUPER SATURDAY featuring “Local Lucky Dogs Give Back” by the Anderson Humane Society in Downtown Anderson. The day will include a wide variety of animal related activities & contests, children’s activities, a movie & crafts, live entertainment all day, delicious food and an assortment of arts, crafts and business vendors. The public is encouraged to bring their pets to enjoy the day as long as they are on a leash, friendly, under control and all animal deposits are removed by the responsible owner.

The day will also accommodate a cruise in for the car enthusiasts.

Live Entertainment: will begin at Noon and proceed until 10pm on the Anderson Town Center stage

highlighting a variety of local musicians.

Pet Activities will feature:

ü A Pet Parade beginning at 2pm at 9th & Meridian Street and finishing at 12th and Meridian Street . (Sign up at PetSmart on Saturdays from 10-5pm and Sundays from Noon to 4pm until May 31)

ü Door prizes awarded for those that sign up to walk in the parade,

ü Silly Pet Tricks,

ü Pet Costume Contest, and

ü Photo display of available pets and adoption applications.

Children’s Activities include:

ü Paramount Theatre is showing Disney’s “101 Dalmatians” FREE at Noon,

ü The ANDERSON Center for the Arts is hosting children’s Arts & Crafts Area featuring animal related projects,

ü The Humane Society is hosting a Kid’s Art Poster Contest, and

ü Children’s “Goodie Bags” will be available at the AIMS Information booth for the first 100 children to show up.

AIMS is a Not-for-Profit entity and proceeds benefit Downtown Anderson .

All proceeds from pet events benefit the Madison County Humane Society.
