Why are we having a fundraiser?

Well for the past 2.5 years, we have hosted some of the best artists and brought some of the best performers to our space to show their work and generally have a great time. From local artists to international artists, bands of all shapes and sizes. Raging 800 person shows to relaxed 150 person shows.

We even host a free artist in residence program, as well as provide free community access to our printshop and other facilities. And we have never EVER taken more than a 20% commission from the art sales or the ticket sales.

We have hosted many, many benefits for groups like Kitchen Sink Magazine, Rock Paper Scissors, Visible Voice, Food Not Bombs, etc.

Now its our turn.....we want to rock this year and we will, we just need a little help (and a lot of paint!).

A brief hint at what we have planned for the near future::
6 Curated shows -
-----the gallery being turned into a real forest with an art show and overnight camping events
-----a large scale kinetic sculpture and interactive media show
-----walls of multichannel video and time based installation
-----an international mail art exhibition
----an show of artists under the influence......of other artists
6 Curated parties -
-----from the High Seas
-----To a Prom Night featuring Flock of Seagulls (!!!!!!serious!!!!!!)
-----And of course - Halloween New Years
3 Curated Benefit events
-----raising money and awareness for groups fighting hunger, racism and sexual abuse

Not to mention bands that I can't even mention without getting them in big trouble.

If you give to us we'll give back to you. PROMISE.

XOXO
