SOUTHERN SOUL SOUNDSYSTEM will be opening up the night.

Lloyd's Rocksteady Revue is a 11 piece all-star line-up of musicians based in Atlanta, Georgia performing early Ska, Soul, Rocksteady and Reggae formed by Jonathan Lloyd of The Robustos, Cadillac Jones, Dubconscious and Kingsized. The vision is to preserve and re-introduce people to some of the best Jamaican soul music ever known. With a revolving cast, special guests and song selection, Lloyd's Rocksteady Revue is sure to offer a unique show every time that will always keep you clapping your hands and stomping your feet!

Lloyd's Rocksteady Revue is proud to present some new faces to the May 8th line up.
On bass will be Solomon Wright of the progressive-reggae band Dubconscious. Also of Dubconscious, will be Jerry Hendelberg on organ and piano. Damien Lewis, of Revelation, will be holding it down on the drums. In addition to the already massive sound horn section will be John Sandfort on Tenor sax. He has performed with many groups and has one of the finest sounds around.

Special guest Monty Montgomery of Symarip will be performing some of his original, classic tunes. Monty, of Port Antonio, Jamaica, started off playing organ and piano in Prince Buster's backing band, The Bee's. Later they became known as the Pyramids and eventually Symarip. Monty along with Roy Ellis wrote some of the most popular and widely known rocksteady classics.

Also performing is special guest Kneah Francois from St. Lucia. He will be playing guitar throughout the night and will be a featured vocalist performing some Jamaican classics. He has worked with many of the Caribbean's finest and is a multi-talented musician and producer.

Last show's line up included Jonathan Lloyd, Andy Bauer and Rob Kincheloe of The Robustos, Errol Moore of Israel Vibration, Matthew Wooley of Dubconscious, DeWitt Ellis of Gurufish and Coupe De'Ville Theory, April Duncan of the original Jumpstarts and Kingsized, Brenda Nicole of Julie Dexter, Jahi Kearse and Eugene IV, Will Scruggs of Kingsized, Will Scruggs Jazz Fellowship and the Funderhorns, Paul Garrett of Kingsized and also performs with Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi's Soul Stew Revival.

It featured special guests: Erica Newell of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers and currently tours with Stephen Marley as well as the Original Wailers, "Big Mike" Geier, leader and founder of Kingsized and former member of The Useless Playboys and Adrian Zelski of Athens,Ga. based dub-reggae group Dubconscious.
