Liz Johnson: the Silence of Water July 29, 2009

These photographs are the result of years of contemplative study of water. Johnson, who refers to her process as "collaborating" with the element, has created a portraiture of her subject through which "the mind is silenced and the subject is allowed to reveal itself."
