LIVING HISTORY Performance Series - “A Swingin’ Night at the Museum” December 8, 2009

This performance chronicles American music and dance during WWII. Arrive early at 6:30 p.m. for a swing dance lesson, then enjoy big-band sounds of the Mike Tracy Orchestra while members of the Louisville Swing Dance Society demonstrate the dances of the Greatest Generation. Bring your dancing shoes and swing the night away. Cash bar and galleries opens at 6 p.m. Light refreshments are served. Tickets are $9 for museum members, $12 for non-members, $5 for students and seniors. Exhibit gallery access is included.
