Join us for an exciting fusion of Celtic music from Ireland, Scotland, Cape Breton, Scandinavia, and America. Performers include faculty and students from Berklee, Boston College, Harvard, Stonehill, and UNH, featuring John McGann (mandolin), Natalie Haas (cello), Matt Glaser (violin), the Folk Arts Quartet, Jimmy Noonan (flute), Kimberly Fraser (fiddle), and Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers. We will also have a bodhran, a Hardanger fiddle, nyckelharpa, accordion, octave fiddle, and, at the end of the evening, an open session for more Celtic fusion. Joe Nugent of Boston College, Tom O'Grady of UMass, and Berklee's Henry Tate will read selections from James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, and original poetry. For program information, contact Joseph Coroniti, Editor-in-Chief, FUSION Magazine.
