Flamingo Rd. at Torrey Pines Dr.
Las Vegas, Nevada

Vegas local home teams the Notorious VIPs and the Tommy Gun Terrors face off in this bruise-tastic event! This isn't your grandma's derby.

All you need to know about Roller Derby (in 20 seconds):
Each preliminary bout consists of two (2) twenty (20) minute periods; each period has as many jams as possible, with a full jam lasting 2 minutes. Championship round will consist of three (3) twenty (20) minute periods.

To score, the jammer (one for each team, identified by a star on her helmet) must lap the opposing players as many times as possible during the jam. The lead jammer (first through the pack without penalties) can 'call off' a jam at any time; teams use this ability strategically to maximize their score and prevent their opponent's.

The blockers must use their heads as much as their muscles if they are going to stop the other jammer while clearing a path for their own. This is not WWE: the hits, falls, bumps, bruises are real!

You do realize that the park isn't called "Flamingo Banks" by anybody outside the league, right?

Google it up, you'll only find it called that on the RollerCon web site.

It's West Flamingo Park.
