Saturday, August 15th: Live Music – The Kenny Kearney Quartet. The KKQ is a band of local masters with a long and intertwined history. This incarnation is a rekindling of those musical relationships in a new context. John Ingle on Alto and Soprano Saxes is equally at home with modern classical or jazz as well as the Classics of the "Great American Songbook". Jan Jackson is one of the most in demand drummers in town. He's played w/ everyone, most notably Wil Bernard and Beth Custer's various projects. Peter Tilttlebach on bass is a unique composer whose music seems to fuse the ideas of Zappa and Monk with his own off kilter sense of humor. Kenny Kearney on guitar brings a wide range of influences from genuine 70's fusion to straight ahead jazz, as well as Classical and Flamenco guitar styles. Show at 8pm.
