City Beach & Prism are honored and pleased to provide for your listening and dining pleasure R&B,Soul, & Funk artist, Tasche. Tasche began singing at a very early age and by the time he was 15 was touring with the Godfather of Gospel Music and writer of “Oh Happy Day” Edwin Hawkins. Tasche pursued a formal education at University of California at Berkeley and while he was studying he was also touring with two major label artists Toni Tony Tone and Kenny Lattimore. After graduating with a baccalaureate degree in Sociology he started his own audio production company that he named Tasche Vibe Music. While producing albums for numerous independent artists for Tasche Vibe Music in Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, Jazz, Blues and Rock genres of music, Tasche has toured and performed nationally and internationally with many major and independent artists like Goapele, The Braxton Brothers and Howard Hewitt Alexander O’Neal and Cherelle to name a few. Currently, Tasche tours as the keyboardist and one of the lead vocalists of the Sly and the Family Stone reunion band “The Original Family Stone”.
