Claire Trevor School of the Arts and Department of Drama present Little Women, the Broadway musical, an all-undergraduate production. The show is directed by Myrona Delaney, associate professor of musical theatre and head of UCI’s New York Satellite Program, with musical director Dennis Castellano, head of musical theatre.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's own childhood experiences and her 1869 semi-autobiographical novel, the Little Women musical follows the adventures of the March sisters—Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy—who come of age during the Civil War. The beloved story feels timeless as it deals with life-changing issues as relevant today as when they were first written. Filled with glorious music, dancing, and heart—the sounds of a young America finding its voice—this exhilarating new family musical is sure to charm young and old alike.

Little Women, the Broadway musical, opened in 2005 and has been nominated for several awards.
