Horse & Bamboo Theatre Company presents Little Leap Forward.

Little Leap forward is the new show from the multi-award winning Horse and Bamboo Theatre Company, based on the novel by the internationally known bamboo flute player Guo Yue and writer Clare Farrow.

Horse and Bamboo are non-verbal and use a distinctive mix of mask, puppetry, specially composed music and physical theatre skills. Little Leap Forward tells the story of Yue's Childhood in China during the Cultural Revolution. It is a story about family, friendships and creative expression but above all about the need for freedom.

Directed by Alison Duddle, with set design by Bob Frith, the story will be told using masks, puppetry, shadows and animation with original music composed by Loz Kaye. The music will also feature the distinctive flute playing of Guo Yue himself.

Suitable for 7 years plus.
