Now in its 11th year, San Francisco's Literary Festival adds an international component by bringing in authors from Scandinavia for Nordic Noir, Ireland for Young Ireland as well as writers from Mexico in order to round out 9 days of programming that includes: The Art of Fiction * Lit Flicks * Kidquake * Teenquake * Pro Wrestling Memoirs * Science Vs Spirituality * an evening of Titanias, Oberons, Faeries and Pucks at Buena Vista Park and much more before closing night's notorious Lit Crawl, which as always will present literary mayhem at its finest and most sophisticated.
Authors on tap for this year's festival include: Jeffrey Eugenides, James Ellroy, Mary Roach, Ishmael Reed, Adam Mansbach of "Go the F**K To Sleep" fame, Jane Smiley, Chris Adrian, Daniel Handler, aka Lemony Snicket, Thomas McGuane, Christopher Moore, Daniel Woodrell, Deepak Chopra, Cyra McFadden and approximately 840 more.
