Literaries Who Lunch presents Jen Lin Liu September 8, 2008

Southern Californian native Jen Lin Liu went to China in 2000 as a Fulbright Scholar and has lived there ever since, writing as a freelance journalist and food writer for Time Out Beijing, Zagat and Frommers. In Serve The People (part travelogue, part memoir, part kitchen-confidential), Lin Liu takes us on a cook's tour through today's China as she progresses from cooking student to noodle-stall and dumpling-house apprentice to intern at a chic Shanghai restaurant.
