Liszt in Paris: Enduring Encounters September 18, 2008

Drawing from the Morgan's collections, this exhibition documents the virtuoso pianist's encounters with Parisian society and its cultural milieu through his contact with fellow musicians (notably Chopin, Berlioz and Paganini), writers (George Sand, Dumas and Heine) and artists (Delacroix) and their interactions.
