I would like to tell your about The Morristown Lions Club Show on June 13, 2009. The Show will be held in Fred Miller Park in downtown Morristown. Pre-registration is possible and the cost is $15.00. All the funds raised goes toward the charities we participate in but mainly for exams and eyeglasses for those who cannot otherwise afford it. We have trophies and awards in all imaginable categories along with the top 25.If you would provide me with an address we would be happy to mail you flyers that would tell you all about our show. The show starts at 8:30 AM and concludes at about 4:30 PM with a parade to The Hamblen County Car Club weekly cruise-in at Ingle's Supermarket on the East side of town. That lasts until 9:00 PM. We have loads of door prizes starting at about 10:00 AM and an auction which usually is held at 2:00 PM or there about. The auction features various items donated by Morristown businesses and usually at least one or two autos donated by local auto dealers. Last year we raised over $3,000.00 which translates to about 250 to 300 people we can help depending on the particular eye prescription they have to have. Morristown is located 45 miles from Pigeon Forge Tennessee and would make a wonderful place to spend a week-end.
