Let me first introduce the amazing musicians who will be joining us to perform at our benefit concert on Saturday, May 2nd at The Hotel Utah...
Rushad Eggleston:

Rushad is widely known as the brave pioneer of a whole new style of cello playing. He attended the Berklee school of music on full scholarship, and (with a band called fiddlers 4) became their only active student to be nominated for a Grammy! He has played with Bela Fleck, Natalie Merchant, Dr. John, yonder mountain string band, David Grisman, Mark O'Connor, Darol Anger, Nickel Creek, Taj Mahal, and lots more. He has played all over the world including Carnegie hall, all the major folk and bluegrass festivals, and in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France, Romania, and Canada.

Lucid Lovers:

Kristina Hakola and Dave Amato create soulful melodies and thoughtful poetic lyrics with liquid guitar sounds that blend into the musical fabric that becomes Lucid Lovers original sound. You can find Lucid Lovers performing around the San Francisco Bay Area every week.

CelloJoe (playing with our band):

There aren’t very many singing, rapping, beatboxing, cello players in the world. You could probably count them on your fingers, if you knew any of them. But there’s a particularly funny and funky curious one you should remember and he goes by the name of cellojoe. Like most cello players, Joseph Abraham Tal Tien-Ru Chang Jr. Senior III esquire (or just Joey for short) started out as a classical cellist. A mild-mannered suburbanite kid from Los Altos, California, Joey began studying the cello at age ten.
Joey auditioned in Berklee College of Music’s World Scholarship Tour in 2000. He was awarded a scholarship and attended Berklee from 2002-2006.

Caiti and I will also be collaborating with the bassist, pianist, and drummer for the San Francisco/Boston based band, Honest Thomas.

All of this is for only $8. This is going to be a fantastic night of music and Cait and I would really love to see all of you there. This is our first big show in the city and we need you there to give us calming vibes as we prepare our long ride! Oh man, do I ever need that.... :)
I am going to attach our flyer for you (front and back) so you can read more about the music and our ride from SF-New Hampshire on horseback and bicycle.
