The National Portrait Gallery presents a scholarly symposium on Abraham Lincoln in conjunction with the exhibition “One Life: The Mask of Lincoln.

The program will consist of four lectures that will examine various aspects of Lincoln and his times. The speakers are David C. Ward, the exhibition curator; Alexander Nemerov of Yale University; Michael E. McGerr of Indiana University; and Marcia Brennan of Rice University.
