Lin Arison and Michael Tilson Thomas - Feast for the Senses: A Musical Odyssey in Umbria December 9, 2010

Inspired by her lifelong love of Italy, Arison takes readers on a journey through Umbria in the company of Michael Tilson Thomas and members of the New World Symphony orchestra. Thomas is the conductor and music director of the San Francisco Symphony, as well as artistic director of the New World Symphony. The book is part memoir and part travelogue with many lush illustrations of the sites, foods, and crafts of Umbria.
