Lila Bloom is from Denver, Colorado, and has roots in Jazz, Folk, and Alternative Rock. Her band performs the original "Say You'll Stay" operetta; a project sparked in May 2008 when an eerie voicemail left by an old woman ("Eloise") at a wrong number spoke of dreams, love, and death by "little songs". Eloise is scattered throughout the lyrics of the operetta, watching over the two lovers as they look back over the inception, growth, and demise of their relationship.

Ms. Bloom performs the soulful and sultry vocals of the operetta, while Tony plays the lament of the male lover on the guitar. The stinging licks of the instrumentation intertwine with the vocals, creating a harmony that caresses the audience, enticing each person to "stay the night". Ed plays rhythm guitar, Aaron rocks on the bass, and Emily sings backup vocals, adding a haunting echo and harmony to the operetta.

Lila Bloom and her band currently tour California, Las Vegas, and Colorado, with an east-coast tour planned in October 2009. You may have seen her perform at the Majestical Roof in Pasadena, Peet's coffee, or the Peace Festival in Riverside. Lila Bloom had the great distinction of singing the national anthem at the Colfax Marathon in Denver, and she frequently donates performances to non-profit organizations such as the Humane Society and the American Cancer Society. Don't miss this operetta! it breathes new life into a classic art form, and its haunting sound will follow you long after you hear it.
