Lights, Music and Merriment: Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony November 17, 2007

This not-to-be-missed extravaganza is chock full of surprises this year. Adults and children alike will be captivated by the music of LA-based singing quartet, The Ditty Bops; unparalleled jazz from Concert 9Net; and, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, one of the best pop-jazz vocal groups in the world, m-pact. Amidst all of this merriment, prepare to be mesmerized when the Mayor and a surprise guest flip the switch on the stunning 12,000-crystal UNICEF snowflake floating over the Beverly Wilshire hotel AND the 20 one-of-a-kind Baccarat chandeliers lining Rodeo Drive. The fun begins at 5:00 pm in the 200 block of Rodeo Drive and carries over to Two Rodeo Drive where Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet and greet you as you shop and enjoy special treats from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. The Baccarat chandeliers and UNICEF crystal snowflake will be lit and remain on display until January 1, 2008.
