Lights! Cameras! Karaoke! at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro April 20, 2011

The Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro today announced Lights! Camera! Karaoke!, a fun and friendly performance event for kids in elementary, junior high, or high school. Lights! Camera! Karaoke! is a featured part of its April Vacation week on Wednesday, April 20th.

Designed for kids of all ages, including elementary, junior high and high school, this fun and interactive event lets kids perform karaoke onstage in costume! Kids can sing by themselves or with friends, or even sit in the audience and watch their friends perform. Nominal prizes will be awarded throughout the day, including gift cards, candy and more.

The Lights! Camera! Karaoke! schedule is as follows: elementary school students can perform from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.; junior high students from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.; and high school students from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Performances are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to arrive early. Pizza, drinks, and other snacks will be available.
The April Vacation Series at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro features a fantastic array of performers and events, including a movie on Monday, April 18th, Toe Jam on Thursday, April 21st, and world-renowned magician Matt Roberts on Friday, April 22nd.
