Heralding a Renaissance of San Francisco's nightlife, LIFE celebrates the glamour, heat. and deep soulful beats that once made The City the only destination for beautiful Bay Area people searching for elegant and exciting nighttime entertainment. And what better venue to bring this feeling back to SF than Temple, a gorgeous 3 room nightclub renowned for its international headliners, amazing sound system, and lush décor, all of which have quickly made it San Francisco’s hottest nightlife destination.
For our premier Summer Solstice Celebration at Temple, LIFE is proud to present headlining artists SEN-SEI & ANDREW PHELAN. From monthly residencies at Pink, Harlot and Vessel, to one offs and afterhours across the city, this duo has been tearing up the San Francisco scene of late, with Andrew on the decks and Sen-Sei bringing the live element on the keys. Their combined production discographies cover some of the most respected labels in house music, including Nervous, Yoshitoshi, Drop Music, Jah Love, Eight-Tracks, Tango, Imperial Dub, Turnaround-Sound and Amenti, cementing their reputation in the international house music community as two of San Francisco’s fasting rising stars.
Kicking things off in the main room with some deep, sexy house grooves will be Temple’s own BEN TOM aka DJ DURBEN. From his residencies in the late 90s with massive promoters Feelgood and Coolworld, to his recent releases on Peach Music, Body Music Chicago, Soulmine, and Tarantic to name a few, Durben has been a mainstay of Bay Area nightlife for over a decade now. Bringing the soulful house flavors in the Destiny Lounge will be Remedy’s BRIAN SALAZAR and Temple’s DJ IQ. And in the dark depths of the Catacombs, DJ GREG J and TONE will be cutting up a variety hip hop, 80s, and mash ups.
