'Intensely likeable and breathtakingly skilled - you really are aware that you're watching those at the top of the game.'

Hip-hop dance pioneer Benji Read and Spearfish bring their groundbreaking new show to the Brighton stage. Featuring world-class b-boys - Mouse, Steady and Chimp Chilla from Funkstylerz Dance Company - and live music courtesy of DJ G Kut, Life of a B-boy draws on a breathtaking repertoire of breakdance, house, boogaloo, popping and locking, to create an exhilarating dance/theatre explosion.

As each performer steps into the 'gladiator's circle' (where they must prove their mettle in the heat of the dance action), it's make or break time. Through their struggles and triumphs, three unique life stories emerge, played out as three compelling journeys from unknown outsiders to genuine b-boy contenders.

Combining physical theatre, dance and live music, Life of a B-boy sets a new standard for hip-hop theatre.
