Nationally known wildlife and environmental photojournalist Lynda Richardson (www.lyndarichardsonphotography.com) helps you learn how to get up close and personal with a variety of insects, and learn how to maximize the use of your camera for stunning images. Participants should have a camera with the ability to focus closely on small subjects (close up or macro feature) as well as adjustable apertures and shutter speeds. Bring a tripod and a flash. This class is for experienced photographers.
Participants should already have some familiarity with their digital cameras. This workshop includes an introduction to the subject covered, technical tips, a folder of handouts, and fieldwork in the Garden with Lynda. Participants should have adjustable digital or film cameras (where you can change the aperture and shutter speed settings) with a close up or macro lens. A familiarity with F-stops and shutter speeds is helpful. A list of required equipment and suggested materials is sent after registration.
