Let's Talk About It: Jewish Literature Discussion Series, Session 3 October 28, 2007

Join us for a free lecture and discussion of Red Cavalry by Isaac Babel. This is the third of a five-part book discussion series: Let’s Talk About It: Jewish Literature - Identity and Imagination. Participants of all backgrounds are invited to explore the theme “Neighbors: The World Next Door” through the reading and discussion of works of contemporary and classic Jewish literature. Each session will open with a presentation by David Mesher, Professor of English at San José State University. This session also includes a guest speaker: Professor Gabriella Safran, Department of Slavic Languages and Literature, Stanford University. Pre-registration is recommended so that we can provide sufficient hand-outs and refreshments for all participants.
