With more than two dozen chart hits to her credit, Lesley Gore helped create the soundtrack to the Sixties with hits like "Judy's Turn To Cry," "She's A Fool," "That's The Way Boys Are," "You Don't Own Me" and her classic smash hit, "It's My Party," the song that skyrocketed her to fame in 1963 at the age of 16. Gore still sings those songs "as if I first heard them yesterday," but it's no exercise in nostalgia. Gore is a composer, performer and recording artist, whose record sales have surpassed 25 million. Her versatility made her a television and film star. She continues to write for film. Her talents have been recognized for decades through ticket sales, pop charts, and an Oscar nomination for composing.
