Sene Africa Bio
An incredibly spiritual duo singing in native tongue of Wolof and French, Sene Africa performs songs from a Griot Society of Traditional Africa. These songs are passed from generation to generation and learned during childhood. While Ibrahima Ba performs on guitar, Amadou Fall plays the Kora, a 21string harp. In Senegal they say the sound of the Kora is so beautiful it must have descended from Heaven. Ibrahima and Amadou grew up playing music together in Senegal and then explored the world individually playing music. Reunited together again, their performances are powerful and uplifting.
