Gaetano Donizetti's opera will be sung in Italian with English supertitles. In this lighthearted romance, a beautiful and wealthy girl is the obsession of two men of opposite means. Nemorino, the poor but dutiful, foolishly buys the "elixir of love" to win her heart. But in a cruel twist, it pushes her into the arms of his wealthy rival. Desperate to win her back, Nemorino joins the army and Adina eralizes the value of his heartfelt sacrifice.
