Legends of Style: Future Shock October 21, 2006

LOS 5: FUTURE SHOCK
For the 5th installment of the Legends of Style (LOS) series, Future Classic presents FUTURE SHOCK, our second theme-driven event that continues to blend music, art, design, and fashion at Boston Center for the Arts on October 21, 2006 (7pm-12:30am).

OVER 40 ARTISTS
FUTURE SHOCK will showcase artwork from a record 45 artists and designers from across the country. In true LOS tradition, each artist will be unveiling new art, exclusive to this show, which represents their interpretation of the notion of the “future” and what it means to them. LIVE PAINTING
Live painting will also be featured throughout the evening provided by local artist alliance and creative workhorse Project SF.

LIVE DJ: J-BOOGIE
Accompanying the variety of LOS artists, Future Classic is proud to present the internationally acclaimed DJ/ProducerJ-Boogie from San Francisco, CA (Om Records) who will be providing the evening's soundtrack. J-Boogie's infectious blend of dub-infused hip-hop, soul, dancehall, funk, latin, afrobeat and house will be a perfect compliment to the cutting edge theme of this year's LOS, FUTURE SHOCK.

LIVE SILK SCREENING
Included in this seasons event will be a live silk screening installation to insure that fashion does not take a back seat to art and music. Patrons can purchase these unique one of a kind t-shirts, for a mere $10 a piece.
