Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day weekend with legendary Boston comedian Lenny Clarke, aka “Uncle Teddy” of Rescue Me, at Comix where he will headline four shows on March 14th and 15th.
Lenny was the most prolific "saloon comic" in Boston during the heyday of the Boston comedy scene, and is featured in the documentary When Standup Stood Out, which details Clarke's early career and his affiliations with other famous Boston comics, such as Steven Wright and Denis Leary. Most recently Clarke has been working on the US remake of the hit British show Life on Mars.
Clarke has written and starred in his own sitcom Lenny, and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s Roast of Denis Leary, Contest Searchlight, The Job, The John Larroquette Show, Comedy Central Presents, and movies such as Monument Ave., Fever Pitch, and There’s Something about Mary.
