Legacy Jazz Quintet March 28, 2009

The Legacy Jazz Quintet will play two sets, 8:30 & 10:15 p.m., March 27 and 28.

Pianist and Jazz St. Louis' Director of Education Phil Dunlap has assembled a quintet of the finest players in the St. Louis area. The band is in the mold of the classic quintets of Miles Davis, Art Blakey and Horace Silver from the 1950s and ?60s. Dunlap is joined by Jason Swagler (saxophone), Tony Wiggins (trumpet), Jahmal Nichols (bass) and Marty Morrison (drums).
