Lee's Theatre to holds open auditions for "Once Upon a Christmas Wish"
Lee's Theatrical Productions, 1426 W. 53rd St. in Anderson, will hold open auditions for "Once Upon a Christmas Wish" on October 15th and 16th from 4-8pm. Children and adults ages 4 and up are needed for this original LTP musical. The script and was written by Susan Lee of Lee's Theatre. The musical score was written by AU music composition student, Dan Smith and produced by Lee's Theatre sound technician, Shawn Neal. This play features some favorite princesses (Aurora, Cinderella, and Snow White) who make a Christmas wish and are magically transformed into children again. They enlist the help of many of their fairy tale friends: fairies, dwarves, woodland creatures, Peter Pan, and even Santa and his elves to help them find the true meaning of Christmas and become adults again. Potential castmembers may come any time during audition times and should come prepared with a short solo to sing. Auditioners will also be asked to read from the script and dance a short routine they will be taught during auditions. There is a $25 registration fee due at time of auditions to help defray production costs and castmembers will provide their own costumes. Showtimes are November 24-25 at 3pm.
