Lee Regional Fair September 15, 2009

Save the Date! The all new Lee Regional Fair is coming to Sanford on Sept.15-20. Tuesday is School Days (free gate admission with Student Pass), Tuesday is also Senior Citizen Night for our 65 and older guests. There are exciting new events including a Demolition Derby on Friday night, Motorcycle racing on Saturday Night, along with a mechanical bull and circus events during each night of the Lee Regional Fair. Tuesday night three Beauty Pageants for Grades 1-3, 4-6, 7-8 and Wednesday night two Beauty Pageants for Grades 9-10 and 11-12 ($500 scholarship for Miss Lee Regional Fair). Preregistration is required for judge’s interviews. There is even a local Talent Show featuring both young and old entries with cash prizes and participation ribbons. Exhibit hall entries are also coming together in art, photo, flowers, sewing, etc ($500 Youth and $500 Adult prizes based on entries cash prizes) along with exhibitors for the new barn with cows, chickens, ducks and we’ve even seen a Brahma Bull before! Why there is even a Chili Cook-off and cake baking contest along with a Diaper Derby and Dog Show. Truck Driving and Tractor Driving Contest, Ice Cream Churn off and judging of prize chickens, cattle and goats and don’t forget the rides, food and fun. There is something for everyone to do at the all new Lee Regional Fair sponsored by the Sanford Lions Club.
