Ledward Kaapana, the incomparable slack key master joins “Hawaiian Boy” Mike Kaawa, the under-the-radar 12-string maestro for a legendary night of music celebrating their New Release “Force of Nature”.

Led Kaapana is a multiple Grammy-winner who has collaborated onstage with a dazzling list of musicians including Alison Krause, Sonny Landreth, Chet Atkins, Leo Kotke, Taj Mahal, Ry Cooder and Tal Farlow to name a few. Led’s fret board technique and soaring vocal are beyond description; effortless, magical. Mike Kaawa, is the heir to Sonny Chillingworth, Gabby Pahinui and Atta Isaacs; integrator of endless styles that echo jazz, ragtime, cachicachi, and those indefinable Transpacific steamer blues.

“Force of Nature” was recorded live at Seattle's Triple Door. The CD emulates a legendary Sunday jam sessions at Honey's in Kaneohe, where Mike and the guys had been playing all afternoon, and Ledward blew in like a cool wind out of the Ko'olau Mountains, a force of nature.
