On October 3rd, at 7:30 p.m., the VHM will welcome Pierre Sauvage, a child survivor of the Holocaust and Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker.
Mr. Sauvage will present the inaugural lecture for the season of cultural events at the VHM focusing on the Righteous Among the Nations. A popular, internationally recognized lecturer on the Holocaust and its continuing challenges, his illustrated talk, The Challenge To Us of Holocaust Rescuers, will demonstrate we still have much to learn from those courageous men and women who risked their lives and those of their family in order to save innocent Jews from extermination.
The lecture is accompanied by the opening of the Diplomats of Mercy exhibit. Both events are and open to the public.
