Lecture and Trilingual Reading

There will be a discussion on the importance of supporting and preserving literacy creations by Indigenous Mexicans in the maternal languages. They will also discuss the genesis and process behind the publication, Words of the True Peoples / Palabras de los Seres Verdaderos. Miguel May May will read from his book in his native Mayan language. Carlos Montemayor will be reading in Spanish along with Donald Frischmann in English. A dialogue with the audience will follow.
