Learn to Embroider your Clothes August 13, 2008

Is your wardrobe feeling blah? Spice it up with hand-stitched motifs! With simple embroidery techniques you can transform a boring blouse, T-Shirt, onesie, or throw pillow into a one-of-a-kind creation.

Easy stitches such as running stitch, chain stitch, satin stitch, and french knots will be introduced in this two weeks class. Plenty of designs will be available for inspiration, and you will be shown how to transfer your design to fabric.

Please bring the following supplies:

- a garment, bag, or pillowtop to embellish
- a 6 inch embroidery hoop
- your favorite colors of DMC embroidery floss
- embroidery needles
- scissors
- pencil and pad of paper
