Chris Austin, a Camtasia expert and trainer, will be debuting his new course, Mastering Camtasia 4 Live, beginning Tuesday, February 6, 2007. This 20-hour training course, delivered via the internet will teach corporate trainers, educators, marketers and others how to use a popular screencasting tool called Camtasia. Chris Austin has over 10 years of experience as a technical software and systems trainer and is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). For the past 6 years, he’s designed, developed and delivered training solutions using Camtasia screen capture software. Popular with corporate trainers and those in education, this tool is finding a new audience with marketers, business coaches, consultants, and those who develop information products.

“The sky’s the limit when it comes to creating applications with Camtasia. You’re only limited by your own creativity,” says Austin. “Whether you’re developing training videos, marketing your services, or even adding life to an otherwise static PowerPoint presentation, this product is my first choice. I’m pleased that I’ve been able to capture my knowledge, for the first time, and to deliver it to a wider audience through this new, comprehensive course offering.”

The course, which begins Tuesday, February 6, 2007 (http://www.screencastingessentials.com ) will include 8 instructional sessions and 4 labs, for a total of twenty hours of learning. The entire learning experience will last 4 weeks and can be enjoyed from the comfort of home due to internet connections and group video sharing capabilities. Even better, the course will be recorded in its entirety and will be available for download to all attendees.

Eight Training Sessions

Session 1: Mastering the Camtasia Recorder
Session 2: Mastering Editing I
Session 3: Mastering Editing II

In addition, there are four (4), 2-hour labs where you can ask Chris your individual questions and then watch him, on your computer screen, as he demonstrates the solution using the Camtasia screencasting tool.

This course is suitable for those new to Camtasia as well as more seasoned users who want a review and to learn some of the finer aspects of managing a Camtasia project from start to finish. While this course focuses on version 4 of the software, all of the features and functions of the prior version, Camtasia 3.x will be covered.
