This Sailing takes place in Key West, FL

$495.00 - Learn to Sail - Weekend Fundamentals - AKK-QQB-029 - This course is designed for those who want a thorough introduction to the exciting sport of sailing. Graduates will have a good understanding of all the basics and will leave as competent crew members. You will learn terminology, rigging the sails, setting sail, wind direction, tacking & gybing, sail trim, overboard recovery, sailing without a rudder, dock landings and knots. You will have 1 classroom hour and 12 hours on the water. This experinece takes place Saturday thru Sunday.

$750.00 - Learn to Sail - 3 Day - AKK-ABI-029 - This is just as the experience above but you will have 4 classroom hours, 18 hours on the water and takes place Friday - Sunday.

$875.00 - Learn to Sail - 4 Day - AKK-ABI-029 - This is a complete learn to sail course. Graduates will leave able to safely and confidently day sail a boat on their own in a variety of conditions. This is the most thorough Learn to Sail course available anywhere. You will learn terminology, rigging the sails, setting sail, wind direction, tacking & gybing, stopping & starting, sail shape & trim, mooring & dock landings, maneuvering in tight areas, overboard recovery, heavy weather sailing, anchoring, reefing, coastal navigation, rules of the road, sailing without a rudder, introduction to spinnaker and knots (just to name a few!). You will have 4 classroom hours an 24 hours on the water. This experience takes place Monday thru Thursday.

Restrictions - Sailors must be 14 and older and if under 18, parents must also be on the same trip.
