This is the fourth in the 3rd year of a 3 year series of practical leadership skills training sessions. Each session is self-contained so you can join us at any stage during the series and attend as few (even one only!) or as many as you would like to.

The topic for this session is "Principles for Getting the Job Done (Helping Yourself and Your Organisation Reach Its Potential)" (Year 3, A4).

There is no charge for attendance and each attendee will be given a workbook/worksheets for the session(s) that they attend.

If you intend to come, it would be great if you would confirm ahead of time.

The sessions are informal with a strong emphasis on small group discussion and practical application, all conducted in a fun, yet serious, atmosphere (if that makes sense).

The material that we use has been written by John Maxwell (an American), an internationally recognized leadership expert, speaker, and author who has sold over 12 million books. His organizations have trained more than one million leaders worldwide. Dr. Maxwell is the founder of Injoy Stewardship Services and EQUIP. Every year he speaks to Fortune 500 companies, international government leaders, and organizations as diverse as the United States Military Academy at West Point and the National Football League. A New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Business Week best-selling author, Maxwell was one of 25 authors named to Amazon.com 's 10th Anniversary Hall of Fame. Two of his books, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and Developing the Leader Within You, have each sold more than a million copies.

Whilst based on Christian values, the material is widely applicable to all those in leadership positions in whatever sphere of life (home, work, social, church, faith-based organisations etc) and those from any or no faith persuasion. Attendees to date have come from the public, private and not-for-profit (voluntary) sectors.

This session is part of the global Million Leader Mandate initiative.
