LEA is turning heads in the songwriting world. The Washington Area Music Association has nominated her for 5 Wammy awards in contemporary folk music and she recently completed a prestigious Artist in Residence program at the Music center at Strathmore. Her music has been compared to that of Joni Mitchell and is a soulful blending of R&B, jazz and urban folk.
