Lawrence Virtual School - Old Shawnee Town Social September 16, 2011

Join LVS and LVHS staff and families for day of fun! We'll be taking a 'Goin' to Town Tour'!

Students and families will walk through the town visiting with Shawnee townsfolk and possibly trying their hand at braiding rugs, measuring items in the Dry Goods Store, shelling corn, learning about 1920s stamps and coins, ordering supplies from a catalog, wringing laundry or churning butter!

This is a great opportunity to meet other families and visit with school staff and learn more about tuition-free virtual public school options available to K-8 and high school students.
