Lavender Diamond is a Los Angeles-based folk/country-pop quartet known for its light-hearted, often winsome sound, its simple, romantic lyrics and the charismatic, whimsical stage presence and ethereal vocals of frontwoman Becky Stark. Guy Blakeslee is the brainchild behind the kitschy rock sound of Entrance. Blending threads of glam like T. Rex with Big Star/Cheap Trick-styled pop hooks, Entrance offers something more tangible compared to Blakeslee's days spent working with the Convocation Of in Baltimore. This band started as an epiphany in 2000, taking inspiration from various leftist organizations, zines and hardcore punk. The name represents an awaking and realization to the truth and history of world power struggle and manipulation, murder and lies.
