Lautreamont Concerts is a dynamic ensemble composed of internationally renowned soloists. Formed in 2004 by violinist Steven Zynszajn with some of his closest colleagues from the Juilliard School, they have performed over thirty programs throughout New York, including concerts at the French Consulate, New York Historical Society, Steinway Hall, and the Chelsea Art Museum, as well as a chamber music performance in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. Lautreamont Concerts offers programs of the sort one might have encountered in a golden age of classical music: a selection of solo and chamber works, concerti for strings and piano, as well as transcriptions, tangos, and new works. They are also a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing their performances to health-care facilities in New York, and to collaboration in the areas of music therapy and neurological research. -----
