Laura Berman's Works on Paper at Pele Prints August 6, 2009

Pele Prints welcomes Kansas City artist Laura Berman for a one-night preview of new works on paper. Laura combines families of shapes and whimsical color to create fresh images in non-traditional formats. Her latest work embraces the unexpected and celebrates the handmade in print.

Laura is currently an Assistant Professor of Printmaking at the Kansas City Art Institute. Her work is featured in "The Book of Probes" by David Carson/Marshall McLuhan and "Printmaking at the Edge" by Richard Noyce, and she is represented by Dolphin Gallery and Telephonebooth in Kansas City.
