Latinas: the Spirit of California, Women and the Arts March 21, 2009

Despite a common belief that they are newcomers to California, many Latinas can trace their ancestry in the region back two centuries or more. This exhibit highlights some of the remarkable Latinas whose contributions have helped create today's California.
