West St

Our Regency Ward councillors, Sven Rufus and Jason Kitcat, have arranged a Local Action Team [LAT] meeting for the Fishermen’s Vestry at S. Paul’s Church in West Street on MONDAY, 10 MARCH at 6-30pm. A LAT is for residents, businesses and other interested parties in a given area to raise concerns in a forum that offers access to agencies that may be able to effect change, e.g: Police, Licensing Authority, Crime Reduction Partnership, Councillors, etc. As I have had contact with you through the recent hustings at S. Paul’s, or at other times, I write in the hope such a meeting may be of interest to you and to any group you represent. I feel it could be the beginnings of some form of building-up of community and give opportunity for such changes to improve the local quality of life, as may be felt desirable. If you could let me know whether or not you can make this meeting [and if you can’t if you can advise me about interest in any future meetings], and inform others you think might like to come along on 10 March, I should be grateful. Alternatively, if you would care to let me know about groups we could invite I would be happy to do so.
