Come out this Thursday, April 29th to POP OPERA Doors open @ 9pm... join us to celebrate our 6 month anniversary! Weve been around since October, and youve kept us going this far!! Your love and support has established GENUINE NITES to be the premier South Asian party destination every last Thursday... all of this in 6 months, and NOT 6 years!! This nite is dedicated to all of you!!!

THIS IS HOW ITS GOING DOWN...

>> Joining us will be Rina Gill and Tarannum from RJ1200 to celebrate the Official launch of Click Lounge, which airs every Wednesday afternoon from 2-3pm. Taking place in the PLATINUM ROOM, this celebration kicks off at 9pm sharp. Click Lounge will also be unveiling their new website (www.clicklounge.ca) and making a special announcement.

>> The nite will start off with 2 amazing fashion shows showcased by Raj Collections and Retarded Velvet (influenced by Japanese street style and classic Bollywood movies).

>> In the music ****pit will be none other than our resident djs form the MiB RoadShow (www.mibroadshow.com). DJ emenes and DJ 151 will be spinning a ****tail mix of uk bhangra and bollywood mashed up with top 40 and dance tunes. Joining alongside will be co-pilot, DJ J-Traxx and other guest djs to take you on a musical journey inspired by the party people on the dance floor. And of course, the Iceman will grace the mic as the evenings guest MC.

>> Be sure to get your hands on the the CD release of BE THE FIRST TO HEAR IT -- a joint project by R1200 and DJ Emenes of the MiB RoadShow. Every Friday morning on RJ1200s Wake Up Call (hosted by DJ Deep and Kuljeet Kaila), a brand new mashUP produced by DJ Emenes is debuted. A collection of these mashUPs, along with some unreleased tunes will be featured on the CD.

AND...?

And there will be midnite champagne. Why? To celebrate our 6 months anniversary. Where? in the G5 Lounge (located behind the music ****pit).

And last but not least there will some SPECIAL GUEST appearances but we can't give away the surprise just yet... ;)

SOME THINGS ON YOUR MIND...

Some things that youve asked Why do we (we, as in Genuine5.com) keep doing GENUINE NITES? Why do proceeds from each GENUINE NITE go to support a youth related charity? To answer the first question last Thursday GENUINE NITES are a product of the people you all asked for something, and we put something together, and thats the honest truth. Sure the Venue management loves the above average turn-outs, because it boosts their bottom line, and the venue staff love us because we keep them entertained, and most importantly you love us because you dont have to be bored at home on the last Thursday of every month. We do it to quench the thirst of our loyal patrons. Moving on to the second question Genuine5.com was founded by 5 guys with 5 different established business backgrounds who all share a common factor having a foot rooted in the entertainment industry. Having said that, the 5 strongly felt the desire to produce an event where everyone, including you, can take part in, have a great time, while supporting a greater cause - youth related charities.
