Las Comadres Para Las Americas is an informal internet-based group that meets monthly in many US cities to build connections and community with other Latinas. Since April of 2000 we have been building relationships, doing business together, helping each other find jobs, sharing news and introducing comadres and learning about/celebrating our Latinidad. We are creating "legacy" programs to provide educational opportunities that lay the foundation of wealth, health and making our voices heard. Come and join over 7,000 Latinas who connect with their comadres every day.

We require that you email us if you are a Latina or married to a Latino and we'll invite you to join the D.C. Metro Comadres.

From the invitation you'll begin to receive emails from other comadres in the D.C. area and you can send to the list your requests or announcements you think other comadres could find useful.

Most of all, you'll be able to get the evite invitations with exact directions as to where the next comadrazo will be.

Usually comadrazos are done at the homes of a host comadre.
